Publié : 03/08/02 9:36Hi, here I am a gain , I am very happy to see so many reactions on my first posting on the name 'collection privé, It was a test, I was very angry because I posted so many questions in the forum months ago, and nobody read it, nobody answered it, ok this time I will be serious.
I am alex, a 32 years old man, left above knee amputee, a fool in france, someone who was drunk drived my leg off with his jeep 4 years a go in the area of Grenoble when I was on vacation, I waked up with the message my leg was amputated, and the jeep never stopped and dissepeared, but still after this accident I love France and French people, I know you all hate Belgium people, but ok, not a problem. My son is named afther the son of Louis, so his name is also Olivier, I am a webmaster and make special things, animations, graphics, in the first place for american sites, secondly I love to collect everything from the next actors: Louis de Funes, Bourvil, Coluche and Fernandel. But like you all Louis de Funes is my greatest fan.
The day Louis de Funés died I cried very much, it was hard, my biggest dream was to meet him once in real live, my mother took me to the cinemato look at his movies, and they where so great, he was the man who could bring people to laugh, even when they are in big problems he still could do that.
Since a few years I started first to collect his movies, first the famoust movies, after it the rare movies, now I have over 100 movies, originals, not self taped from him, still about 30 movies to go... I searched me crazy after very rare items, I am not a poor man, I realy can give everything for unique peaces, but it is very difficult to find. The most things are still in private (family) area, and not in collections.
I have a unique letter, writed by the funes, writed on 31 aout 1980, in this letter louis de funes, personellement ask for information over wine he want to buy, the letter with in the head the name chateau de clermont - le cellier, and also the enveloppe, his signature, a very nice piece I realy love, and if someone would like to see it, I always can try to scan it, and send it to you. just ask. ok ?
Next I have about 50 original movie posters of him and his movies, the most are in frames and hanging in my whole house, some are old and unique, others are not so important and can be find easy, but as a collector it is not important or they are old or not.
Another 'unique' piece I have is a kepi from the gendarmes, buuuuut I buyd it once on a french action site for the price of 1500 euro, I believed that day it was real, real from the films, but now, I don't know, I don't believe it one hundred procent, it is a nice piece, but or Louis de Funes have it on his head, for the same price it could be another gendarme who was wearing it, Michel Galabru mayby, the kepi look a little big for the size of the small louis de funes head.
A few days ago I was in Le Cellier, a very nice little small city near Nantes, on the Loire, (pictures will be developped soon), the chateau was beautifull, eaven better and bigger then on the pictures, but when I saw there was a uggly restaurant insite on the right side behind, ugly stores on the left site behind, a lot of privat people who live in the middle behind in some maden appartements in the castle, and that only the front of the castle was still privat it was hard to find out that this beautiful big castle had such a future, once the biggest actor lived in this castle, and now some fools made all commercial not good looking things in it.
I informed about visiting the place of louis de funes .. well the 3 th weekend of September it is possible to see the privat living places from Louis de Funes, then it goes open public.
After it I drived to his grave, in the front, when you come in you see his grave, a cave, grass on it, a few roses, he loved roses so much, and his name, Louis de Funes, a poor simple grave for a big man, I guess just like he wanted it. From his grave you can see his castle, there is mayby 800 meters between it.
It was a good feeling to stand so close to this man, but also so hard, to stand near a dead louis de funes, such a positive man, if every manj was like him, then live could be so funny. I took some sand from his grave, took it with me, and saw on the ground textes like ' je t'embrasse Louis', Also from this i took pictures.
In the castle there is also a hotellerie, so rooms for rent, I tried, but everything was full they told me.
Before Nantes and Le Cellier I was near Marseille, in Carry Le Rouet, I saw the house of Fernandel, the name of the street there is don camillo, and it was also very nice (also pictures from this in development)
The adress from Jeanne De Funes is real, but no one can get in touch with her there, Jeanne lives in Paris, but Paris is Big, in deauville where i was yeasterday morning she only have a vacation house.
